David Pelosi was born in Brazil and serves Christ as a church planter and pastor in Paris, France, a nation with only 1% professed protestants. He was born in 1984 and became a Christian when he was 15 years old. David went on to become a professional surfer and pursued an Industrial Design degree in Rio de Janeiro. After being called for ministry at age 19, he attended seminary and served for 8 years at the Presbyterian church in Rio. In 2011, he moved to France as a missionary and has since been planting Bonne Nouvelle (Good News) Reformed Baptist church in Paris. He has partnered with HeartCry since 2014. He and his wife, Mayra, have been married since 2009, and they live in France with their children.
