Andy Alvarado is the pastor of Jesus King of Kings Evangelical Baptist Church. He received his ministerial training through the mentorship of his pastor, who encouraged and guided him towards further training. Andy studied at the Baptist Seminary in Sullana, and returned to his local church to help with the preaching and teaching ministry. Andy states that “in preaching, the Lord Jesus Christ is the focus of God’s Word and it should be mine too.” Despite this, Andy recognizes that “my family is my main responsibility and ministry. The Word of God and prayer allow me to carry it out.” Andy has been married to his wife, Gissela Lisbeth, since 2011. He has partnered with HeartCry since 2022.
