Belarus

Xander serves the Lord as a pastor located in Belarus. He recalls his conversion: “The Word of God through the choir, sermons and, of course, through reading the Bible, touched my heart. I prayed a sinner’s prayer to God in March 1990. I came into my room, closed the door behind me, got on my knees and began to pray: Jesus Christ came into my life, and since then, it has changed dramatically!” He received his ministerial training through a Bible Institute and through his studies at a seminary. His current work involves shepherding the church he helped plant in 1997, when he started in ministry. The city in which he ministers is one of the most atheistic cities in the Russian-speaking world. Xander has been partnering with HeartCry since 2019. He and his wife have been married since 1994, and they live in Belarus with their children.
