H.W. grew up in a Buddhist family and “became a strong young Buddhist” who “hated Christians.” He struggled with fear of death and a lack of peace. After attending a salvation crusade H.W. recalls: “my spiritual eyes were opened, and I came to see the way of salvation that Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross. I completely trusted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I was overjoyed for the salvation that I received freely.” H.W. now serves the Lord as a pastor of a local house church, and he is involved in evangelistic efforts with the surrounding people. He has been partnering with HeartCry since 2020.
