Our daughter is now sick, since for a month and a half we have been drinking the water from the rainfall. Our house is in danger of being washed away now that on the 24th of March the river flooded its banks and is now only 20 meters from us. In order to buy food for our family I have to walk four hours, and to bring back the things that we purchase we have to put them on donkeys or horses.
In all of this, I am teaching my family to recognize the sovereignty of God and to bless His holy Name at all times.
Since the river has overflowed the brothers and sisters of the congregation here have totally lost their harvest, and their fields altogether. Today, a group of us went to brother Pedro’s home to take out all of his belongings because the rive has now reached his house. Sadly, his family has now had to relocate to a different town.
