“Three times a year, 9Marks and Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC host around one hundred pastors, seminarians, and church leaders from Thursday night to Monday morning for a full-on immersion in the life and inner workings of Capitol Hill Baptist Church, a church committed to living and ministering biblically” for a “Weekender.” In addition, 9Marks and CHBC have more extensive training for international pastors from Saturday through Thursday, leading up to the Weekender. The international pastors are assigned books to read before arriving, write short essay on topics related to the church, and discuss the topics together with the 9Marks staff.
It is an incredible blessing and opportunity to partner with 9Marks and CHBC and provide the funds so that HeartCry missionaries are able attend these valuable meetings. This week six HeartCry missionaries are attending the Intensive Weekender from Asia and Africa. The feedback from the missionaries thus far has been very encouraging.
Timothy began working for HeartCry in 2015 and assists with the work in Asia. He is married, has eight children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
