Dear friends and supporters,

Firstly I would like to give our best greetings and love to you, all of friends and supporters who are loved in Jesus, our God. May His grace, peace and love be yours in abundance.

I give thanks to God because in the previous month God kept my family in peace and health in His love. Also, He has shown grace to my family on our work. My wife and I teach our children to keep walking on God’s paths, day and night praying to God that He keep my family living in His will. As it is written,

“And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord”

Ephesians 6:4

Brothers and sisters, please remember my family in your prayers.

I am so thankful to God because in the past month He has taught me so many valuable lessons by His Word written in the Bible. In 1 Timothy 3:1-5 I studied about the qualifications that an overseer should have. The deacons also have to keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience (I Timothy 3:9). Please remember to pray for the consistency of my spiritual life in the Father.

I give thanks to God for He always upholds my missionary efforts. During February (which were the 1st and 2nd day in the Lunar Calendar), our church gathered and prayed for each family and for brothers and sisters everywhere in Vietnam. We prayed for Vietnam government that God opens their hearts. We pray for the spread of God’s Word to every corner of Vietnam.

Too, God also gave me the opportunity to share with my brothers and sisters in the church the Word of God in Psalm 90 and 102:12-17. I am thankful to God for His grace and please remember to pray for my ministry, for my courage under the guidance of the Holy Spirit so I can accomplish the mission God has given me.

Recently, I had the opportunity to speak about the Gospel to my spouse’s family. Last month, my spouse’s brother had an accident when he was drunk and passed away the same night. When he was alive I had talked to him about Gospel so many times but he refused to listen. He would be silent to my calls and try to avoid my family, as he was so afraid that he had to listen to us again. He was a drunkard and gambled, and the accident happened as a consequence. After his death, my spouse’s family grieved and was confused. Lacking faith in God, they offered sacrifices to gods. On February 18th, I visited my spouse’s parents once again to testify and sought to ease their hearts. I used God’s words in Matthew 7:24-29 and afterwards I received their permission to pray with them. My wife and I kept going back and forth to her parents to share the words of God with them. This time I read from 1 Corinthians 8:4-18 concerning eating sacrificial offers to gods. I am so thankful because four or five of the members of her family listened and decided not to eat the food. Please remember to pray more for my wife’s family so that they would learn more widely and deeply about the Word of God.

This has been a long and tiring month for all of us, the first days of our Lunar New Year. Hopefully, we can do even more than that in months to come in our Lord’s service. My family would love to express our appreciation to you, all friends and supporters. May grace from Jesus Christ, our God be with you all.

Yours sincerely,

Dahn K.
