Last night I arrived in Samara, Russia for the annual Preachers’ Conference. Over the next several days I will have the privilege of meeting personally with many of the men that HeartCry supports through Samara Center for Biblical Training. Please read the following from Brad Klassen about the conference and how you can pray specifically about what is taking place here.
This weekend, May 27-29, Samara Center for Biblical Training is hosting its annual Preachers’ Conference. Over 450 church leaders from Russia and beyond have registered to attend. Adding to the teaching of our SCBT team, pastor Conrad Mbewe (sometimes called ‘the African Spurgeon’) has come from Zambia, Africa, to preach seven times over these three days. He is also the featured guest at a special pre-conference seminar on church planting hosted by SCBT.
Over the years God has used this annual conference as the most impactful event of SCBT’s ministry. Please be in prayer this weekend for the conference and all those involved. Pray that the ministry of the Word would be particularly effective in the lives of those in attendance. Pray also for pastor Mbewe’s health and endurance as he serves so intensively over the coming days.
