Building a Foundation For Faith
It is important for every Christian to understand what they believe and why they believe it. Taking “Foundations” enables participants to
“Study to present themselves approved unto God, a workman who needs not to be ashamed of the truth”.
Here we also spread the gospel of God to the locals. We believe that God has led us here to learn to build up the foundations of believers so they develop a passion to serve the Lord. And also we learn how to deal with people who suspect our motives for believing in Him.

As we prayed a lot about the building which was ruined by the floods last year, God sent support from helpers in different countries as well as through the tireless work of Pastor Chhinho, Many volunteers came and helped with their whole hearts. God has shown his faithfulness and great love to us and the children we serve through this school. The children are really happy to be back in this newly restored environment that is now better than before. Praise God!
Prayer needs:
- Pray that the school will have the 3 new English teachers.
- Pray for the kids to work hard and value this opportunity and that they remain in good health.

Improving Through Training Courses
We have a step by step church planting course that covers many topics we need to address as we plant our churches. We designed this to help leaders get the best start possible, because starting a church is not as simple as we’d all like it to be. There are a lot of things that need to happen before public worship services begin. Here, we tell you what we have done so far.
Teacher Children Training: 15th – 17th January, 2018
Panz, MarryAnn and Lisa, who come from the Philippines, spent time with our 20 children Teachers to train them in presenting lessons which enable children to learn and understand. Plus, they revealed tips to the teachers to ensure children see how each lesson helpfully applies to their lives. The teachers felt stirred, blessed and greatly encouraged to continue in God’s ministry. They are able to show how the gospel makes children grow as good examples in society; teaching them to live daily in godly, honest, caring and loving ways towards all around them.
Pastors’ Training: 19th – 21st February, 2018
God sent us help to develop our pastors in spreading the gospel to the people we live among as well as new unbelievers we meet in our routine daily life. They were truly inspired by the training delivered by Evangelism Equipping Organization (EEO). They were excited to learn new and effective ways to share the gospel. Noticeably, our pastors were really engaged in the lessons, and some were able to relate their past experiences to what they were learning and others could discuss and compare how they would deal situations, common or unusual, which might always at any time other.
Family Conferences: 17th– 18th May
Inspiring messages and hands on workshops made this family conference excel far beyond previous years, as participants were challenged to honor God’s Word in every area of their lives. Whole families enthusiastically made the journey to meet up in Phnom Penh. This year’s conference theme was taken from
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it”.
Ephesians 5:25,
This simply means husbands must love their wives and treat them as well as Jesus looks after his bride, the church. God first loved us and gave himself up for us and husbands must follow his example. They love God, receive his love and spread his love first of all to their wives. Wives then will willingly trust, support and join in ministry with their husbands, even though they live through difficulties. In the same way, as they express this love to their children, it will produce a return of love and obedience from their children.
Timothy began working for HeartCry in 2015 and assists with the work in Asia. He is married, has eight children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
