A Testimony of Conversion

The past few months, Samson Mutambo (on the left next to Pastor Jacob) has been attending our church services and has received the message with deep conviction. He is currently involved in discipleship lessons and looking forward to baptism, God willing. His commitment and testimony are inspiring. Though he had attended church for much of his life, things are no longer just about a religious life. In his own written testimony he says:

“ As I consider my life in retrospect, I see the futility of living a life without Christ – a life all about oneself and desiring the things of the world… God by His great mercy, through the means of grace, has continued to speak into my life. God has been gracious to preserve my life, and how I pray that His grace shall abound. I am a debtor to His grace and love (Jn. 3:16). By God’s grace, I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior (Jn. 14:6). By God’s grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, I endeavor to seek God’s will, though frail and weak, and find fulfillment in Christ.

“For because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ.”

Eph. 2:4-5
