We had an intense activity this month. We received about 200 Christmas presents for children from Samaritan’s Purse. This was a good evangelistic tool for me. I organized three meetings for children. The first one was in the school in Runcu. We want to begin a fellowship group in this village. The Lord has opened a large door for us in the school in Runcu where we have a good relationship with the school principal and with the teachers. About 50 children attended this meeting.

We had a program for the school meeting which was the same for the other two meetings. I spoke about mankind’s serious problem of sin. Then I explained that each person would be held accountable for his or her sins before God on Judgement’s Day. I told them that the wages of sin was death, in which I explained is eternal separation from God. After I shared these things with them, I told them about God’s love for us; that He sent His Son into our world to save us from our sins by dying on a cross in our place and paying for them. I used an illustration to help them understand what the Lord Jesus had done for us. I took a magnet, fine sand and iron filings mixed with the sand. I put the sand mixed with the iron filings on a sheet of paper and told them that the sand represented us, while the iron filings were a type of our sins. The magnet represented the Lord Jesus. I asked the children what I should do with the magnet to attract the iron filings. They told me I had to bring it closer to the sand. I did that and the iron filings stuck to the magnet. I told them that the Lord Jesus, just like the magnet, cleanses our sins when we believe in Him. Both the children and the teachers listened to me very carefully. Then I gave them the Christmas presents and a little book with the Gospel message.
