Pastor Nicu Vulpe

Nicu Vulpe is a very gifted musician who uses his talent to glorify God. During the holiday season his ministry of music serves to compliment the preaching of the gospel. In his recent update, Brother Nicu shares some of his experiences in the community.

With God’s help, we had many opportunities for ministry. The choir and I were involved in all the evangelistic events we had around Christmas in our church and in all our mission points. The Lord gave us the joy to meet many new people.

After attending our evangelistic event, the Ionescu family attended the Christmas church service. The man came to me and told me he had understood for the first time in his life what had happened at Christmas. He also realized for the first time how to get over his prejudices towards other religious cults. A good relationship has started! We pray that God’s work would be revealed in their lives!

Mr. Ion and Mrs. Otilia were so touched by the young people’s carols that they have started coming to church. We hope to see them as the Lord’s disciples soon! Corina, Diana and Mirabela came with us for the first time. The Lord has opened their hearts. They participated to our meetings, ministries and accompanied us when we went caroling. I pray they would walk with the Lord!

Camelia S. is Florin’s mother. Florin comes to our afterschool program. He has started learning how to play the piano at our Music School. I found out his family’s sad story as we met more often this month. Florin was adopted because Camelia and her husband couldn’t have children. Although they adopted Florin, the husband died shortly after. So Camelia raised Florin alone. When she came to church for the first time, she cried during the sermon. From her visiting our church, she befriended one of the sisters. I believe that the Lord has a plan for her life. We pray that the Lord’s work would continue in her and that the Word will bring the fruits of salvation in her life. I think the time she spent with us was special for her as she has expressed her appreciation for what we have done for her.

When we went caroling we met a person who was really impressed. He told me he had been involved in a truck accident and while he survived, the other driver died. I shared the Gospel with him and he seemed to be very receptive. I pray that he will stay in touch with us and be saved.
