This is a wonderful letter of gratitude from Giovanni Marino and Alpha and Omega Publishing in Sicily.

It includes a brief report on the books that they have published this year in Italian. Italy is one of the neediest countries in all of Europe with respect to a gospel witness. Each book that is printed with biblical truth is like a light in the middle of vast darkness. Please continue to pray for this ministry and that God might raise up laborers to plow, sow and reap in this great field of harvest. Thank you for the prayers and financial support that made this possible.

Your brother,

Paul David Washer

Dear HeartCry,

The brothers and I who are involved in this translation and book publishing ministry are personally very encouraged by your kindness toward us and the progress of Christ’s kingdom here in Italy. Your help, together with the help of other churches, and the income coming from the sales of our books, have allowed us, by the grace of God, to continue in this ministry and overcome very difficult moments that we have struggled through in the years past.

I feel privileged to share with you what God has granted us to do this year in terms of books published here at Alfa & Omega in Sicily. Here are the titles (in English) of the books that we published in Italian:

  • Galatians by John MacArthur  (Financed by ‘Grace to You’)
  • Matthew 1-7by John MacArthur  (Financed by ‘Grace to You’)
  • Matthew 8-15 by John MacArthur (Financed by ‘Grace to You’)
  • The Doctrine of God, by Herman Bavinck
  • The New Calvinism, by Jeremy Walker
  • The Word Made Flesh, by Ligonier Ministries
  • Love you Wife as Christ Loves the Church, by Larry McCall
  • The Returning King, by Vern Poythress
  • The Biggest Story, by Kevin DeYoung

These books, together with the other 130 books already published in the years past, are a powerful instrument in the hands of God to instruct the Italian believers in many different churches and to promote sound biblical doctrines and principles among them. Many times I have received phone calls from people who want to order some of these books and who tell me how much they have benefited from our publications.

I hope that these few words can be of some encouragement to you because you have had a part in this ministry. Thank you.

In Christ,

Giovanni Marino
