Greetings in Christ our Lord. As everyone knows, the virus has been challenging for people all around the globe. There are many people who are dying who have never heard the Gospel. Life is very short. We don’t know when our time will be, but as long as the Lord gives us days, let us seek and take advantage of the opportunity to share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I know it’s not easy during this present situation, but let us seek to serve His people and proclaim the truth who have not yet heard. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” Rom 10:13-15 ESV. This verse always challenges and encourages my heart.

Last month, brother Gautam and I were able to visit Kapilvastu. For the last 4 years, I have been reaching out to this area every Friday. Every week we have been meeting together and studying through “The Truth about Man” by Paul Washer. But since full lockdown, I was not able to visit this place as we are not allowed to cross between districts. After four months, the government allowed a semi-lockdown. So, we took the opportunity to continue our ministry there. It was very joyful for us as we sit and study from God’s Word together. They were very happy to see us. During this visit, it was a great opportunity to share the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ to brother Hari’s family members again. His wife and mother are not believers and have persecuted him over and over. But this brother never gives up. He continues to trust and grow in the Lord. Whenever we would visit his house, his mother and wife used to get angry and didn’t want to talk or listen to the Gospel.  But these days, they are willing to listen to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. They are not putting any pressure on him as in the past. Praise God, it seems that through Hari’s life and example, they are slowly being opened.

During this visit, they were very happy to see us. God gave me the opportunity to share the gospel once again. I told them that life is very short. When and how we will die, we don’t know. But whether we die from this virus or not, death is certain. Every human being is sinful by birth and has broken God’s law. God is Holy and righteous and His wrath is upon all sinful people. He will judge every person. But we have hope in Christ- who died for our sins on the cross and on the third day rose again. He ascended to heaven and one day He will return back and will judge the living and dead. I proclaimed and pleaded with them, “If you repent from your sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ you will be saved and have eternal life.” But if you reject this gospel, you will have God’s eternal judgment. I appealed to them, again and again, to believe in the gospel. They listened very seriously as the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ was proclaimed seriously. O God have mercy on them, open their hearts to seek you, and give them eyes to see you. My dear brothers and sisters, please pray for brother Hari’s family.

On the same day, I was at brother Gautam’s house, and one of his friends came to visit. He was sharing with us about the physical problem that he has been suffering for many years. I was moved with compassion for him. I told him that I would pray for him, and hope that the Lord would heal him, but today, I desired to tell him a truth that maybe he has never heard. I told him, “friend you have a more dangerous disease and that disease will take you to the eternal destruction. Now you are being worried about your physical disease but more that, you have a spiritual disease.” He was very shocked. I then shared the gospel with him. Please pray for this man- that He would come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray that God would open the door for us to visit him again.

I was very much thankful to God for this opportunity to share the gospel with these lost souls. As we know, people are dying, and in Nepal, the death rate continues to go up. They have now heard the true Gospel before their death. I pray that God would have mercy upon these people whom I shared the gospel with. Lord, send your Spirit upon them and cause them to be born again.

Before we have finished our module on the London Baptist Confession of Faith 1698 & Hermeneutics/Homiletics, we had the great privilege to test our intern brothers, to see what they are learning. They have gone through the final exam, and they did their best. Brother Doug and I are investing in the life of these brothers and sisters. Brother Gautam, who is an intern, is growing in sound teaching and maturity. He is growing in the Lord in the understanding of the truth and character. Praise God for Gautam’s life and how God is using him. Please pray for this brother as he is looking forward to full-time ministry.

Dear brothers and sisters, your prayers and support are an incredible help to us as we reach out to souls. Please continue to pray for the gospel work in this needy land.
