Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

On March 4th, 2015, and update was given on the Asia blog entitled, “A Baptism Observed And A Baptism Hindered.” It spoke of a young man who had been attending the church for the past two years, showed great evidence of faith, and was scheduled to be baptized. His family, displeased with his actions, prevented the baptism from taking place. The request was then made:

“To this day he has been struggling within and without, although he never misses coming to the service on Sunday mornings nor for the prayer meetings on Wednesday evenings. Could you lift him up before the Throne of Grace, that God Almighty will have mercy on him and give him the courage to take up his cross and follow Him and Him alone? Please pray that this will be an opportunity for his whole family to witness true Christianity.”

The Lord has heard the petitions of His people! After months of struggle, Dil was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit this morning. It was such a joy to welcome him to the fellowship of Reformed Baptist Church. Much prayer has been offered on Dil’s behalf, not only before his conversion, but also in response to his baptism, which was previously hindered. I thank you all my dear friends who have interceded on his behalf relentlessly. Soli Deo Gloria (To God be the Glory Alone). What Krishna Pal was to William Carey (Krishna was Carey’s first convert), Dil is to us. He is such an encouragement to the church.

Pray that God may use him for His glory.
