Shalom, dear friends and coworkers in the Lord!

We would like to thank you for your interest in our ministry, for prayer support and participation in solving our problems. In turn, we continue praying for you, your ministries and God’s answers to all your needs, we also continue praising the name of the Lord for making us one Body, of which Christ is the Head. To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen. (Romans 16:27)

During the hot Israeli summer, the Lord has blessed us with His gracious answers to our prayers. During one of the services, a man called Alexander accepted Christ in his heart. The Lord brought him to repentance through the complete disillusionment in the Rabbinic Judaism as in a dead religious philosophy. Please pray for the spiritual strengthening and growth in faith of our new brother in the Lord.

Thank you for praying for the biblical summer camps in Israel. This summer, many children and teenagers from our congregation have participated in summer camps and helped in organizing them.

This summer our congregation gained five new members. Two families, upon learning of our statement of faith, expressed the desire to join the congregation. After spending time with them, our Council recommended accepting them and the whole congregation said: “Amen”. We are grateful to the Lord for caring about our congregation, its spiritual and numerical growth.

This coming November our congregation will celebrate 19 years since our first service in 1997. Praise the Lord! Please continue praying for our church, all the ministries and leaders, for wisdom in planning and organizing our activities in the future.

This year Rosh Hashana (the Jewish New Year) falls on the October 3rd, it will be the year 5777 according to the Jewish calendar. Rosh Hashana is the first in a series of the Fall Holidays. Yom Kippur will come a week later on the 12th, and then Sukkot from 17th – 24th. We are planning special services during the Fall Holidays, to which we will invite guests in order to tell them about the Savior. Please pray about these services.

During the Fall we also plan to have some field trips with services. The next one is planned for October 25th. We hope that non-believers will join us for the trip. We will prepare the Bibles and other literature for them as well as conduct the service and proclaim the Good News. Please pray for God’s guidance in preparing and conducting the field trips.

Our children and teenagers will start a new school year in our Shabbat School in October. We are grateful to the Lord that He opens the new opportunities for spiritual education and ask you to pray for the spiritual growth of all the students, for organizing and conducting services in Hebrew.

Our brother Elijah will start his military service in the IDF. He is the same age as the congregation. His whole life has passed before our eyes. A few years ago Elijah accepted Jesus, was baptized and now serves in the congregation. We are glad that he has an opportunity to go through the special pre-army training course organized by Lech Lecha and Nativ for young men and women believing in Jesus. The aim of the course is to prepare the young people for the hardships of the military service and help them to share their faith while in the army. Please pray for Elijah and other believers serving in the IDF, as well as for all the soldiers that God would protect them and many would come to saving faith.

Our dear sister Irina went to be with the Lord on June 24th. She left behind a husband and a daughter who are the members of our congregation, as well as two grandchildren. We are grateful to God for giving us 14 years of blessed fellowship with Irina. Her entire life has been a real testimony of sincere trust in the Lord. Even in her passing our sister was able to serve the Lord. During the funeral ceremony, which was attended by many non-believers, we could speak about the salvation in Jesus and share the Good News. Please pray for the spiritual encouragement for Irina’s family, as well as for those who have heard about God’s grace, that the Lord would continue working in their hearts and bring them to repentance.

We wish you all abundant blessing in your ministries and your labor for God.

Our prayers are for you, your spiritual growth and the Lord’s work of salvation in your countries.

All God’s people here send their greetings. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
