Dear brothers and sisters,

Praise the name of Christ! Salvation is found in no one else, there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved! Our Lord is still saving His people here in Japan. All glory to God!

SALVATION

Great news! Do you remember the 74 year old lady that we were sharing the Gospel through the study of the bible for the past 3 years? Last month she started coming to our church for the first time and after a service, told me that she didn’t want to go to sleep again with the weight of her sins, that she needed Christ’s forgiveness. So that Sunday, we spent some hours in the Scriptures, answering questions, reading promises, and at the end, she repented and placed her trust in Christ! Glory to God!

SAVED TO FORGIVE

One of the biggest rejections that our Japanese sister used to have when listening to the Gospel was our Lord’s command to forgive. Every time God’s Word was challenging her in the past to forgive family members, there was anger and many times the topic of forgiveness awkwardly ended our bible studies. Praise the Lord that our new sister is now reaching out to all her family members to ask for forgiveness and to forgive. Praise the Lord for salvation and the freedom to forgive.

SAVED FOR THE GOSPEL

Our Japanese sister is now reading her bible and preparing herself to share the Gospel with her daughter. Because of a broken family relationship, her daughter has not been answering her calls for many years. Please help us by praying so our Lord will restore that relationship with the power of the Gospel while she prepares and plans to reach out again to her daughter but this time with the power of God.

SAVED TO OVERCOME SIN

Our Japanese sister used to be a slave of smoking. We have seen her trying to stop smoking for many years but always at the end there was failure, anger and shame. One of the biggest miracles that we praise God for is that our sister has stopped smoking and is now being accountable to a treatment hospital, doctors and her church family. Please pray so our Lord will continue keeping her away from that problem. Thank you always for all your prayers, encouragement and support.

In Christ,

Luis
