Greetings to you all!

I just wanted to send a brief update on the pastors training that we have been doing. We are engaged in training men who are already in the ministry, but have no formal training. Once every two months, around 15 pastors gather for study and fellowship. We started studying the book

Knowing the living God

Paul Washer.

We have gathered at pastor Bhaskar’s church in Guntur district. This study helped us know about God and His character and attributes. This serves to give a solid foundation to the pastors. Through this study they also realised the great need for studies like this and how immensely valuable it is to them. It is going to impact their teaching and preaching in their congregations and in outreach ministries. Many pastors in our country having very shallow understanding about God because they were not taught such teachings. We thank God for this privilege granted to us to learn these truths.

Job says in Job 42:5-6 , “I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear , but now my eye sees you; therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” And in Job 40:3-5 ” Then Job answered the Lord and said: ‘Behold I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth. I have spoken once, and I will not answer; twice, but I will proceed no further.’” When Job got a proper understanding of God he realised the weight of God’s greatness. Job quietly bowed in humble submission before his Creator and admitted that that God was sovereign.

Such is the response of a man when he discovers the true living God, the God of the Bible. We have only covered couple of chapters so far, but we plan on continuing to study it. The pastors are requesting us to translate this book into Telugu so they can have a copy for their people. We are praying that God would help us soon accomplish that.

Once again thank you so much for your partnership. We appreciate you all. We request you to stand with us in the coming days, so that we may continue to do these training classes in order to equip many men and women who are engaged in the ministry.

Your co-laborer in Christ,

S Rajan.
