Before the Lord saved me I lived a very rough lived, totally immersed in vice, drugs, and delinquency. But, by the grace of God, I was rescued from that world and found myself staying at a Christian drug rehab center (Centro Nacer), where the Lord began a work in my life which continues until this day. The Lord did not only do this in my life, but also in the lives of the others who were there at that time. This past month, a group of us who were there together at Centro Nacer got together in order to surprise Pastor Carlos Antezana and to show him our gratitude, since he was the servant God used to work in our lives. I was able to see that, even though twenty years had passed, God had kept us secure in his ways. Now that I am also working at a rehab center, I am very motivated in the work, knowing that “our work in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Cor 15:58).

On Sunday the 25th, as our church was celebrating its 58th anniversary, I had the pleasant surprise of running into Mauricio. He is a young man whom I shared the gospel with several times and whom I encouraged to seek the Lord. He shared with me that he had given himself totally to the Lord and was attending an evangelical church. He invited me to his baptism next month. Glory to God!
