Sorin Prodan, pastor of Providence Church of Brasov, Romania, gives us an update of the work.

“Our ministry in Brasov is growing continually. There is a sense of God’s presence, and a spirit of fervent prayer in our people. We continued our 40 days fasting and prayer time that ended on the last day of February. Each person confessed how the Lord touched their life in specific ways or in specific areas. Our focus was on seeking the Lord, and preparing for a great harvest. Prayer has become a sweet time. I am happy to see more than 70% of the people attending the prayer service.

The preaching on Sunday morning has been powerful. I began preaching through the Gospel of Luke, which is the backbone of preaching and teaching in our church. Occasionally, two of the other brothers will preach on some specific needs. We also are training new preachers that preach short messages and exhortations during the prayer time, or on Sunday morning. On Sunday night we continue our study on the parables of the Kingdom from Matthew 13.”
