November was different from the rest of the months. First of all, Filip, our youngest son, had an appendicitis surgery. This was a very difficult situation. We don’t have a pediatrician in our area so we had to wait for someone to come from Constanta. The situation became worse and worse and the surgery was difficult. We even had to buy medicines and to bring bed sheets from home. The recovery was also difficult, because this situation was not managed properly. All this time Cornelia had to stay with Filip in the hospital. Now, looking back, we realize that everything was more dangerous than we thought and we are very thankful to God for the outcome. Filip actually had peritonitis. We are thankful also for our brothers and sisters who supported us in prayer during all this time.

Then we attended Cornelia’s grandmother’s funeral. Cornelia’s grandmother took care of her when she was little. This was an Orthodox funeral but we are happy for having had the opportunity to talk to our relatives about the forgiveness of sins.

Now a few words about Sulina. In the previous report, I was telling you about Mrs. Lucica. She asked me for a Bible and after reading from it, she gave it to her neighbor, Mrs. Veta. This lady was hospitalized after a few days and she took the Bible with her. There she began reading the Bible and after reading the last page of the book of Revelation she said, “My time is over!”, and died. We don’t know what happened to her. Maybe she was saved like the criminal on the cross in the last hour of her life.

Moreover I talked to the families from Sulina and I told them that I want to have meetings with them in December. We want to have a few evangelistic events and also to give out Christmas presents for children. This will provide me with an opportunity to meet their parents. I pray that God will touch their hearts and that they will accept the message of the Gospel. I also need spiritual and physical protection as I am going to travel on the water in difficult conditions.

I didn’t find a place to rent in Sulina yet. I continue to pray and wait for God to answer. I pray also that God would give me grace in the preaching of the Word. Glory to His name!
