Prayer Update

Back in August, many of you prayed for our dear sister in Asia, the wife of a HeartCry supported missionary, who needed to have surgery to remove a tumor. Her husband recently sent us the following encouraging update thanking you for your prayers.

Prayer Update Asia

“Dearest Brethren,

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to say thank you so much for your utmost care. To give you an update about my wife, she has had a blessed result which has encouraged us so much. We went to the hospital thirteen times last months.

She has met with four doctors in all. As we expected we had to do operation, and it went well. After checking her lumps inside the womb, the operation doctor told us that it isn’t cancer which relieved our hearts—though, he said, if we had delayed it could have been cancer. She needed to go through a cycle of medication for three weeks.

The medicine was very strong and it was very difficult for her, she slept very little. And today we went to the hospital to see the doctor as scheduled. The doctor checked her womb and said that it is almost normal now. We were shouting Hallelujah for the great healing.

We realized that it is because of the power of prayers. Thank you, brethren, for your sacrifice for us. We were able to cover her hospital and operation fees only because of your support.

She is very, very thankful and grateful to all of you for your unbelievable love and help. As a husband, this healing has awakened me to to great joy. What can we say with mere words about how much you are a blessing to us! Thank you so much loving us, brethren. God bless you all.”

“Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” –1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
