HeartCry is pleased to announce the newest African nation where we are partnering with faithful Gospel work. Namibia derives its name from the vast and beautiful Namib Desert, which makes Namibia one of the most arid and least densely populated nations in Sub-Saharan Africa. Eastside Baptist Church in Windhoek is one of the oldest, well-established Reformed Baptist churches in Namibia, and they are sending Uaundja Karamata as their first church-planter.

Uaundja graduated from Namibia Evangelical Theological Seminary and completed a pastoral internship under Pastor Conrad Mbewe and Kabwata Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia. Uaundja is the first missionary pastor to be supported by HeartCry in Namibia, as Eastside Baptist Church sends him to start a church in Otjiwarongo, a city 300 km north of Windhoek.

You can read more about Uaundja, his conversion testimony and call to ministry, here.
