“Besides the evangelistic outreach that I try to do with Stephan, my colleague, we encourage our church members to join us in this endeavour at least once a month.  On March 16th we had a special outreach in Crangasi Park. I was happy that many of our church members came to share the Gospel despite the weather which was not so kind to us. We formed teams of two groups and engaged people with the Gospel.  Also, we gave them biblical tracts. While we had some good discussions, many people were in a hurry because the wind was blowing pretty hard and drops of rain started to come down. I remember talking to a man who was in the park with his son. At first he was annoyed because he thought we were disturbing people and didn’t let them alone to enjoy their time in the park. However, I took the opportunity to explain to him why we do this. I told him that it was not about making new converts to a religion, but it is more about their souls;  that eternity is closer to us that it seems. Also, I told him that God had changed our lives and that we had found salvation for our souls. I said it would be selfish not to tell to other people about the amazing grace of God. After listening to me the man completely changed his attitude and said that he appreciated what we were doing. He added that we should not be discouraged over lack of results because people are more interested in the things of this world than in spiritual things. I replied that one soul matters for God; that it is not a loss of time if we make efforts to tell people about Christ. May God continue to work in the lives of those who heard the Gospel over the last month.”
