Igor Serement serves the Philadelphia Church faith family in Anenii Noi, Moldova. Among the local church’s multiple ministries, his dear wife, Mariana, overses varies ladies’ events to encourage the sisters in Christ. This month Igor shares a few of the testimonies from a recent ladies’ retreat.
At the beginning of August, Mariana organized a four-day retreat for the ladies involved in the women’s ministry in our community. Their subject was “My grace is sufficient for you.” They had the opportunity to spend time in the Word, having fellowship and relaxing. We’ve been organizing this kind of retreat for several years and the sisters are blessed through this ministry. 35 ladies participated in the retreat. Here are several of the testimonies:
“I feel blessed. I received answers to my prayers and to my questions. I am going back home with this thought in my mind: ‘My grace is sufficient for you.’ I will try to encourage the sisters in my church with this verse.”
“I was so tired. We give and give until we get exhausted. This conference was a good opportunity for us to get some rest and to recharge our batteries. He is everything and all our needs are met in Him. Thank you!”
“I was like a discarded battery and the Lord spoke to me: ‘My grace is sufficient for you.’ This is the source where I found peace, joy and a wonderful fellowship in the Word.”
One of the sisters brought a non-Christian lady with her and the lady received the Lord during the retreat.
Don is serving as the HeartCry Coordinator for Eastern Europe. As an itinerant evangelist, his pulpit ministry is directed toward preaching on the inner life of the believer and the spiritual need of the lost. With HeartCry, his ministry includes organizing Bible conferences and corresponding with the HeartCry missionaries in Europe. He and his lovely wife Cindy live in Tuscumbia, AL.
