Beloved friends,
Grace to you all and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Allow us to use this opportunity to update you on what the Lord is doing amongst us for His name’s sake.
The Lord used Covid-19 to show the importance of Christ to people. Since the resumption of our church meetings, around seven people are coming to worship with us regularly, ready to join us in the Lord’s timing! As a church, we held a time of prayer and fasting together, first, to thank the Lord for His faithfulness with RBC since it was constituted three years ago, in November 2017; and second, to pray for wisdom before we baptized and brought new members into the family of RBC.
After prayer, we conducted interviews with those who have been attending our ‘New Members’ classes, and six of them (two sisters & four brothers) qualified to join the membership. Five of these were baptized, and last Lord’s Day they were brought into the RBC family officially.
We are very grateful to the Lord for His faithfulness to His church here in Kampala.
Pray with us:
- That these new members will continue growing in grace together with the old members.
- That the Lord will be with us as we disciple those who have started worshipping with us.
- That our general elections next year will be peaceful. Kampala has seen bloodshed this week.
