The effort to provide a basic pastoral library for pastors and teachers in the jungles of Peru continues. Several weeks ago, a group of around 40 men from all different parts of the northeastern jungles met in the village of Chazuta for a week of pastoral training. The men that were present, representing around 12 different native languages and people groups, come every couple months to Chazuta to receive biblical teaching, which has been carried out by Reaching and Teaching Ministries. Over the past year, HeartCry has been given the privilege of coming alongside this ministry by providing needed literature, such as a Study Bible, concordance, and most recently, a Bible dictionary. By God’s grace, we hope to continue helping these faithful ministers of the Gospel with further resources as they seek to proclaim the Word of God in the needy jungle region of Peru.
