In this valley, people are very attached to Roman Catholicism and there are many festivales celebrating the saints. Also, many men and women live lives of drunkenness. But the Lord is opening doors for them to hear the gospel. This month, the Lord gave me three opportunities to preach the gospel at funeral services. Two of the people that died had suffered from cancer, and during the end of their life they had received the word of God and cried out to Him for their souls. At the funerals, even though many of the family members were drinking, they still listened to the gospel. Some mocked us, but the majority received God’s word with respect and fear. Please, pray for this town, that the word would produce fruit.
