Dear brethren:

We greet you with much joy in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father” – I Thessalonians 1:2-3

We began 2019 with conviction and great hope in the faithfulness of the Lord toward His church. We know there will be struggles and difficulties, but on the other hand, we have full confidence in the Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

In this month, the relatives of three members of our church passed away after rapid and painful illnesses. We trust that the Lord will bring comfort to our brothers in the midst of their sadness and somehow use this for His glory. We also had to begin the disciplinary process (Matthew 18) of two members of the church. One of these cases has been especially painful for us. We pray that the Lord might bring repentance and turn these erring hearts to Him.

An important decision was made at the beginning of the year to send one of our church teachers to be a leader in the mission point in the city of Terrassa. We will keep close fellowship with this new mission point until we are certain that they are growing in fidelity to the Lord and to one another. We ask for your prayers for the minister whom we have sent because he is young and the pastoral work will be a challenge for him.

We are rejoicing because of what God has done in a new mission point in the city of Igualada. In this new work, there are three complete families and several individual believers. Because of the work of the Lord there, a woman recently understood the gospel, repented of her sins, and desires to be baptized. We are praying that her husband and three children will also come to know the Lord. The husband is already following the preaching services on the Internet. That is a big step. Please pray for him!

This passed month, we also traveled to Algeciras, a city in the south of Spain. We have great news: Five churches in that region, desire to be healthy and biblical churches. The fraternity of grace that we started about six months ago has served to encourage these churches to join. We think that the best strategy is for them to have their own fraternity in the region. We are also praying to the Lord for a place so that the believers of the mission point in Algeciras can congregate. They now meet in the house of one of the brothers, but it is very small place for them.

We recently received some great news about the mission point in Valencia—three families (15 people) want to attend the group. We see how the Lord is directing His light in that city to save many people with the gospel.

On a personal level, I thank the Lord and those of you who support HeartCry for providing the finances for me to purchase a new hearing aid. It is really helping me to recover my hearing and to speak with greater clarity. Also, I keep praying for my brother, who is very sick. The doctors do not give him much time. What saddens me is seeing that his heart is hard for the gospel. This next month, I will visit him. I ask your prayers for him.

Brothers, I have you always in my heart and in my prayers. My desire is for the Lord to keep and bless you every day.
