Beloved, I greet you in Christ.
Every believer desires to see the church grow in love for God and one another and that is the desire of our faith family as well.
This month, our church (Nueva Esperanza) finished its fourth year of preaching the gospel of God. We have had some very pleasant times which we could sum up with the words of Philippians 1:9: “that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment” of Christ and his glory. We are experiencing a pleasant time, although we have passed through some hard trials: robberies, spiritual obstacles, etc.
Today we have teenagers and young people who four years ago were just children. Now they continue listening to the gospel and more than that, helping in the ministry. Today we have a teacher, two brothers who can help lead services, and men who are willing to serve as deacons.
Because of these men the work is now easier to carry on. Please pray for Osber, Juvert, Sergio, and Luis Odony; brothers who are helping in teaching and in leading our worship services.
We are very thankful for the construction of our church building, for the children who visit us each week, for the families in our church who work for the good of the congregation. I pray that things will continue to be this way in our church and that, when conflicts come, we will be able to overcome our sin and the attacks of the enemy.
Please continue praying for us, my family, our church, and the work that is going on here in northern Peru.
