Thanks be to our God for this new year full of blessings, battles, and trials, but above all, full of the grace of our loving Savior. We are very thankful for your prayers and support. The encouragement and help that you give us is a tremendous blessing in our lives and ministry.

The church in Nueva Esperanza, Sullana is growing in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. We have been intentional about spending time as a church evangelizing throughout the community, and this has been a blessing for each of the brothers and sisters. I have noticed that through evangelism the members of our church are seeing that the harvest is great and the laborers are few. Thanks to God’s work in their hearts, one family in particular has grown in a strong desire to serve God and they have a passion for evangelism.

Please join us in praying for a young couple that has occasionally come to hear the preaching of the Gospel at our church. Though they are not believers, the Lord continues to bring them to visit us and they are regularly hearing teaching from the Scriptures. At the same time, our sister Gloria has been visiting them in their home weekly. We are praying that they would persevere in coming to the church, and that they would be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth.

A group of believers from the church have been meeting on Friday afternoons to study the Scriptures and increase in our understanding of the Gospel. Because of the increased desire within the church to know the Scriptures, we have had to add another time for meeting, and there are now two groups meeting regularly each Friday. We trust that the Lord will continue blessing these efforts.

Please pray for us, that the grace of God would always be upon us, and that we might continue faithfully toward the goal, the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
