This month has been challenging for all of us as a church. We have passed through many trials, but thanks be to God for carrying us through each of them. Pray for us. We know from the Scriptures that the church will be attacked by three darts: false doctrine, lack of spiritual purity, and divisions. We are prone to these attacks, and we trust that God in His love will continue to protect us and enable us to fight tirelessly for the glory of His Name.

Personally, I ask you to pray fervently for my life, that the Lord would continue to strengthen me for His use. This month I have been working with a married couple that has experienced serious marital problems. Neither of them is a Christian, but after looking for help in their own church, which is Catholic, as well as in psychology, God brought them to us. I am teaching them about who God is and who we are, with the intention of showing them that what they have done in their marriage is the result of their very nature being sinful. We have had times of studying the Word of God together for hours, and they are now visiting us in our church. I pray that God would save them both and restore their marriage.

There are others that are visiting us as well. Two families have now been coming for three weeks. We are praying for them. Pray also for the meetings that we are having in the drug rehabilitation center. We have meetings with all of the men in the center, and we also carry out personal discipleship with ten individuals there. This month, they allowed one man to leave the center and he has since been attending our church faithfully. God is doing a work in Him. God is good.

Pray to God also on behalf of my wife and for her pregnancy. May God grant us a safe pregnancy and delivery that we might be able to hold our child in our arms. Until now there have not been any setbacks. May the Lord in His sovereignty grant us the gift of having pleasant times to come with our baby.
