By God’s grace it’s been already four months since we arrived in Spain and, with His hand of love and mercy He has sustained and helped us until this day.

Our time in the church in Marin has been a huge blessing for both of us. Olga is participating in the women’s weekly meetings at church, and is also involved in a women’s small group on Tuesday Mornings, where she is getting to know some of the ladies more intimately as they study the Bible together.

As for me, I have been preaching through the book of Philippians at the weekly Bible study the church holds every Thursday. I have also been given the opportunity to preach on Sundays, either here in our own church or in other churches that have invited me to share the Word with them. Additionally, every Monday I hold a discipleship group with eight men who actively serve in different ministries.

Also the church has started a Biblical training course. It’s a three year program on which we will go over different subjects ( O.T and N.T. Survey, Theology, Biblical Counseling, etc.) and I have begun teaching Hermeneutics. We have had such and overwhelming response: More than 70 people from our congregation and from churches nearby (with ages ranging from 16 to 70) are attending the class, with a remarkable interest in learning to study and interpret the Scriptures.

In addition to the ministry in the local church, I also dedicate part of my time to Berea Seminary in the city of León. Two weeks ago I taught my first class there (also Hermeneutics) to the second year students.

It’s such a joy to see how the brethren, many of them elders and preachers at their churches, are willing to be trained to serve the Lord, and are being impacted by the Word of God and making an impact themselves on their congregations.

The girls have been with an ongoing cold for several weeks, but now they are starting to get better and strengthen their defenses… praise the Lord! Alejandra is Olga’s little helper around the house, and takes very good care of Lucía :). It is such a privilege and a joy to see them grow! We pray that we can raise them up in the fear of the Lord and that He may save their souls.

We ask you to join us in prayer. We are having many opportunities to share the Gospel and teach the Word, so we would like to use our time wisely for the Glory of God.
