We would like to thank you for your partnership in the work of Christ here in Malawi, especially now as we think about the events that took place during the last two weeks. Both our events were well attended. We believe that the Lord blessed them beyond our expectations. We could not have done it without you and all those who faithfully give to the work of missions across the globe through your ministry.
University Theology Bootcamp 2021 – Union with Christ
This year’s Theology Bootcamp theme was ‘Union with Christ.’ We had a very eager group of 330 students from 11 campuses who listened to each session. We are encouraged by the growing interest among students across the Southern region of Malawi. Those who have attended in the past were excited to invite their friends to come to the conference.
The real work begins now. Over 100 students have signed up to take part in our weekly Bible studies in different colleges across the Southern Region.This is a rare opportunity, and humbling at the same time. Some of these meetings begin in January. We have very little time to prepare. Please pray for fruit and sustaining grace as we plan.
City-Wide Biannual Conference 2021 – Knowing the Holy Spirit
Six years ago we started a city-wide conference to provide a rallying point for the things we are most passionate about, biblical Christianity. We began with a conference on the theme Knowing God, followed by a conference on Knowing Christ. We couldn’t emphasize more the need for a conference on the person and work of the Holy Spirit.
You prayed and we believe the Lord answered your prayers. A little over 200 people from across the country, and including Tanzania and DR Congo, attended the conference. May the Lord move mightily in the hearts of those who attended the conference. During these conferences, we run a book table that is open in between sessions and during breaks. It was encouraging to see the interest in good books from our attendees.
