HeartCry missionary, Sandu Deac, serves in the villages of Pasat, Grisevca, and Molodia, Ukraine.  In the midst of national unrest, Sandu shares how he used the law of kindness to further the gospel this past month:

Blessed be the Name of our God for His mercy and grace. I am very thankful for His care for our family.

If I had to give a theme to describe our family life and ministry this month, it would be kindness. Because I lived in God’s kindness this month, I could see it very clearly. Also now when I look back it is easy to see that God prepared some opportunities for me to show kindness to other people.

We have an old brother in Grusevca who became ill and I was able to help him with different things until his son came back home from Italy. Actually I even helped him with his garden.  When his son, who is not a believer, came home, he praised God’s name for the ministry I did. I was very happy to see this. The following days we met again and he asked me for a Bible. I offered him one and now I pray that God would talk to him and save him.

There was another situation when one of my disciples called me one day and told me that his friend, who is not a believer, locked his keys inside his car. I drove there and after three hours I managed to recover the keys.  Again, it was amazing that this man named Andrew praised God for what happened. We became friends and now I continue to meet with him from time to time. He used to use bad language, but he said to some of his friends,“Have you noticed that since Sandu is with us, we don’t use bad words anymore?”

Some brothers, including John and Vitalic, went to Odesa with me in order to strengthen our brothers from that area. We visited several of them in their homes. We hadn’t see them for about 7 or 8 years, so we rejoiced in seeing each other again. We also visited different churches and shared the Word of God with them.

We visited some sisters who are very ill who have cancer. We prayed for them, encouraged them and offered them some money in order to buy the medicine they need.
