February 2016 News Letter (Salim Hartono, Undisclosed Location in Asia)
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
In 2013, we recorded Audio Bible in a language in our region. The village where we lived is known as a center of black magic. Christianity in that area is mixed with strong animism. At that time, in front of the church, lived an old man who did not believe in the existence of God and strongly oppossed the church. Every Sunday, when the people went in and out of the church, he always stood on the street and said many blasphemous words.
Last week we heard from one of the ministers in that area that this grandfater is immensely pleased to hear Audio Bible in his language along with this minister. We praise and give thanks to the Lord for this joyful news, especially because this grandfather wants to come to worship in the church now!
Please pray that the Holy Spirit continues to work in his heart, giving him a hunger, thirst, and desire for the knowledge of the Lord. Pray God will regenerate this grandfather’s heart with the message of the Gospel truth and that he will he receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Praise, honor and glory be to our God forever!
