Dear Friends & Prayer Partners, Greetings from the land of Nepal. I rejoice in the Lord for partnering together for the gospel work. God by His grace enables me to labor for the gospel. Let me share the work of the Lord how He used me during a couple of months. I was busy on the month of Oct. and Nov. arranging conferences. Oct. 30-31 was our Reformation Day Conference. I was able to present the Five Solas of the Reformation. Around 90 young men and women participated for this conference. The Lord has brought these souls to hear the gospel truth and many were challenged and encouraged. It was the very first time for many to hear the five Solas. The doctrine of salvation is the main theme where the gospel of Jesus Christ was preached. From Nov. 7-10 we had our New Testament Survey Conference. Pastor Steve Sherman gave us wonderful teaching on Bible Survey as we covered every book, authorship, date, occasion of writing, purpose and theme. This conference was very helpful for our men and women to understand particular books which really help us to interpret. It was blessed time to work with Pastor Steve.

The Lord has given me an opportunity to minister among the common people of K. District. It is 45 km west of Butwal. There are a few local churches in this area but very shallow in doctrine. When they joined us for the first time they were surprised to hear the truth of the gospel as they had not heard before. I preached from Hosea 3:1-5; Christ’s love for His bride; John 4:1-14 Christ the living water; Genesis 22:1-14-how God provides a perfect lamb Jesus Christ for our sin. They were encouraged and more eager to learn more about the word of God. During Nov. 21-23 I was able to reach G. This place is located near Himalayas and is well-known and famous for tourism. Many foreigners go for hiking to Annarnapura. This is a place my mom was raised and it was my first visit to meet my old grandfather who is 81 years old. He is paralyzed and disabled. God gave an opportunity to share the gospel to this family. There is no single church in this place. Traditionally people are orthodox Buddhist and Hindu. This is one of the darkest places where the gospel has not reached the people. I was able to distribute gospel tracts in this place and my heart was deeply moved to see the people are dying without the gospel in this place. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they heard without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?” Rom 10:13-15. Jesus said that the “harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore to send out workers into His harvest field” Matt 9:37-38. It is my sincere prayer that God may raise and send some missionary in this place.

On the last returning day, Nov. 23 from the north mountain trip I was sick on the way home. I was caught by viral fever and was on bed for almost 2 weeks. But by the grace God I was healed and now doing okay and continuing on with my work. At the present time, Grace Church is making an opportunity to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the lost world in this Christmas season. May the Lord encounter through His word, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and cause someone to be born again. Please pray for us as we bring the Good News of Jesus Christ among the lost world. Lastly, thank you all for your sincere prayers and supports.

May the Lord glorify in all what we do for His kingdom.

In Him, Silas
