Although Natalia Terentii endures multiple physical maladies, she maintains committment in her gospel endeavors of ministering to the youth, poor and elderly in her community.  In her January report, she writes:

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” What can you say at the beginning of a New Year? To Him be the glory! We spent the New Year’s Eve together as a church, in prayer and fellowship. I felt very bad, but I decided to spend this time with the church. Since I became a Christian, I’ve always spent New Year’s Eve with the church. I praise the Lord for the church and for the pastor, who is faithful in all things.

On December 31st, we had the morning church service and then Lena came to my place to do the laundry. She asked for a Bible and she started reading the New Testament. I talked to her many times from the Bible and about the problems that never come to an end. I told her that regeneration is the only solution, because it gives us a new mind. There is a battle for her soul. Let’s pray for her!

January 8th-12th, we had a guest from USA, brother Charles. He had a study on Hebrews. It was a blessing for me to be able to attend this study. Being that I was sick and I wasn’t able to work in the kitchen, I could attend the study and know the Scripture better. Hebrews is a very strong book, where Jesus reveals Himself as High Priest. The believers attended this conference and the cooks prepared the meals. I felt bad for two days during this event, but I still was in charge of the menu, money, shopping etc.

The doctor told me to put down in a notebook the way I feel every day. When I work harder, I need several days to recover. I took my nephew outside and we played in the snow, and suddenly I started feeling bad and shaking, so I had to go inside. I had to lay in bed for 30 minutes.

Many people ask me why I feel bad suddenly. I had a conflict with a person once and that made me feel bad physically. But, in spite of everything, I want to get up and keep going, like the soldiers. I want to learn and to be victorious.

January 17t-24th, two people from the USA visited us. This was their second visit. They come to get involved in the social ministry and in visiting. The lady stayed with me. We visited several large families and gave them clothes. Two people bought firewood for several poor families. When we got to those families’ homes, they were so surprised and happy. A mother said that God had answered their prayers, because her daughter didn’t have sport shoes for school. The lady from the States also went to Hirbovat, where she got involved in the children’s ministry. One day we went to the village of Cebanovca, where a lady is visiting poor families. We visited a family and met two siblings, a 4-year-old girl and her brother, who was 2 years old. They were staying with their grandfather and their mother was at work. They had no shoes and they lived in a very poor house without any furniture. We gave shoes to the children and they were so happy. I told my co-worker that we have so many things and always want even more. As you know, I am living in my parents’ house and I have repaired it. It is clean and nice now and everybody is surprised to see the change that has taken place. I tell them that it is not my merit and everything I have is from Him.

Butje and Liuba Lasut are a couple from our church. They received some money from someone to help five families with children. They called me and asked me if they could do this in my village, Ruseni. So, they went shopping and then we visited five families in Ruseni.

Butje talked to them and prayed for them and offered them presents. They were all living in bad conditions and in all these cases the mothers were raising their children by themselves. I was also raised in difficult conditions and we sometimes didn’t have food to eat.
