I want to ask you to pray for the children here in Huaycan, especially the children to whom our church is ministering. This month, it has become known that several children in Huaycan have disappeared. One was found dead and there has been talk of the trafficking of human organs. May the Lord protect the children from such evil.
This month we have developed a program for our children’s group which is called “STOP.” This program includes teachings, from the Bible, about how to avoid child abuse, which is also on the rise in Huaycan. In fact, Huaycan has a very high rate of sexual abuse of minors. Please pray for the parents of children here, that through the Word of God they might understand their responsibility before God for their children. So, please pray that this program would be a blessing both to the children and their parents.
