George Serban, HeartCry’s missionary in Stoenesti, Romania, updated us on his wife’s, Dana, health this month.

“I was telling you in my previous report about Dana’s health problems and that she was supposed to have another surgery on July 14th. Before the first surgery, she had 49,900 extra systoles (a heartbeat outside the normal rhythm) per day, and after the surgery she had 11,800 extra systoles per day. We went to the hospital on July 14th and she was hospitalized. The doctor came and asked her to do some tests before the surgery. Seeing the results of the tests, the doctor said that there was no extra systole (irregular heart beat), so there was no need for another surgery. Was it a human error or divine intervention? We believe in the power of prayer and that God is the same wonder working God. Praise the Lord!”
