Dear all,
Blessings to you in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ. We would love to share with you some exciting developments in the recent months. The Lord has truly been gracious to us. Over the past several years, we have been spreading the gospel in the rural areas adjoining the capitol city of the largest state in North India. By His grace, we have witnessed new believers come to know the tender mercy of our Savior.
On the sixth of September 2015, we inaugurated a new church in one of these rural areas. What a humbling thing the Lord has accomplished before our eyes. I have been laboring in more than seven villages, and the Lord has joined together five believing families for this church plant. The average attendance is about 25 – 30 adults, and 30 – 35 children every Sunday. We pray that the Lord will continue to draw others to Himself, and that the church grows stronger.
Currently this church is meeting in a tractor garage, where the family’s farming equipment and supplies are also stored. This place is owned by one of the believers from the church. We are currently seeking, and praying about a piece of land in this area that is ideal for a church building. Please pray with us, and ask the Lord to make His will evident concerning this property. We would love to have a separate building in order to establish our presence in the community, and ease the burden from this family.
There is still a lot that can be done in this area. With an approximate population of around a hundred thousand people, truly the field is white, and the laborers few. Please pray for us, as we stand firm in the Truth. Please pray that through all the situations we will face, we will fervently keep advancing this Gospel work, which God has entrusted to us.
