I have continued my series on Isaiah, which has been an encouragement. I finished preaching chapter 48 and I am now taking a break in this series. It will be continued next year in order to preach Isaiah 53 on Good Friday. At the end of last month I started a new series on the Gospel of Luke, which also is a fantastic book to be able to preach through.

A couple weeks ago we had a great time of evangelism at the local international market. Two people with whom I shared showed up for our Sunday service the next day. Pray especially for one of them, a young Iraqi man that keeps coming. I have had good opportunities to share with him, so pray that the Lord would open his heart to the gospel.

Tomorrow we are going to go to the refugee arrival center on the outskirts of Gothenburg and give out clothes, toys, and, of course, New Testaments. Pray for good opportunities to share the gospel and connect with people. During November I also had some preaching opportunities outside the church. I was invited to come and preach to a group at Volvo, the Swedish car factory, where I had a good opportunity to explain the gospel and teach about evangelism. I was also able to preach together with a Presbyterian minister at a one-day conference on the theme of perseverance & assurance that was hosted by a Romanian group in another city. That was very refreshing.

The work carries on. Ola is currently editing/proof reading Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper. A great answer to prayer is that we are able to catch up with some of the proof reading for the webpage, both with the articles (thanks to you at HeartCry) and also through adding subtitles to videos, with the help of people from our church.

Tomorrow we will have an outreach at the refugee center. On Sunday we will have a Christmas potluck to which we have invited a lot of people from the community, as well as other contacts. Pray for the man that will be preaching, and Iranian brother, that the Holy Spirit would convict people of sin and grant them repentance. In January Don & Cindy Currin will be visiting us to do a conference on the Gospel-driven Life and Church.

You can pray for me personally for wisdom in time management as there are so many worthy things to devote my time to, but I cannot do all of them. Please pray for the Christmas season, that we would be able to take hold of all the opportunities that we get to share the gospel with people that we meet.
