Dear brothers,

It is time to give again a testimony about God’s grace in Adonai Baptist Church of Bucharest. The Lord worked mightily among us this month, strengthening the believers in their spiritual life and offering the good news of salvation to those who are lost.

First of all, I want to mention the HeartCry Conference in Bucharest and Brasov. Our church was directly involved in organizing the Bucharest Conference. It took some effort and prayer to prepare everything, but it really proved to be such a blessing from God. Brothers Charles Leiter and Mike Morrow explained the Word of God for us with much clarity and in the power of the Holy Spirit. We had about 120 people participating at this conference Although most of them were believers , I think that people who don’t know God personally came as well. So, we had three days of sound teachings from the Scripture. Our church members were very encouraged from the messages they heard and I am very thankful to God to you all who made this time of spiritual refreshment possible.

Also the HC Conference in Brasov was such a blessing for us. Cristina, my wife, went for the first time and spoked to me about it days after the event. It had a profound impact in our lives and we have been so encouraged to live holy lives for God, our Creator and Redeemer. We returned to Bucharest with more courage and hope in God’s wisdom and became even more involved in personal evangelism. We want to tell people about the work God has made at the Cross. Again, thank you for making our participation at this conference possible. One of the things that I appreciate very much about HeartCry is that I see this two-sided focus, sharing the Gospel and strengthening the believers. Glory to God.

We celebrated Christ’s Resurrection this month. This was a very good opportunity for us to remember our Lord’s suffering and to celebrate His victory over Satan and death. I had to prepare special messages for this occasion and the Holy Spirit worked in our hearts. Also we had a very special meeting on Thursday evening in our home. This was a time when we shared testimonies about the work of God in our lives, we sang songs and took the Lord’s Supper. I can see that evening as being something very special. We experienced the work of the Holy Spirit touching our hearts and filling them with love for Christ, our Savior. I could see this touch of the Spirit even in the days that followed. Our church members became more dedicated to God and even during the worship time I could notice more love and dedication. For me, this was like a preview of what the Holy Spirit can do. I pray that He will be free to work in our church, that He will persuade sinners to repent and that He will fill our eyes with tears of joy for so a great salvation!

I had also a special time of counselling a young man. He used to come from time to time to our church, almost from the time we started to plant it.  But then, he had a long break when he stopped coming. We continued to pray for him, as we feel he is a deep spiritual battle. He returned this month and looks terrible. I talked to him and eventually he opened his heart and confessed about his struggles. Let us continue to pray for him that God will save and deliver him from any kind of bondage of sin. He has a knowledge of the Scripture, but he doesn’t know Christ personally.

We visited one family and offered them some food supplies. I went there with my wife and had a very good opportunity of sharing the Gospel with the husband and wife.  The husband had tears in his eyes and I think that God started working in his heart. They promised to come to our Easter meeting, but they didn’t. Now we want to get in touch with them again and help them. I know there is great spiritual battle, but we know also that great is our God!

Also this month I shared the Gospel with people that God opened a door for me to preach and give spiritual counselling to.  I preached the Word of God in other churches and continued to write several evangelistic articles which have been posted on our website.

The ministry we do is diverse because we want to take every opportunity of spreading the Gospel and building up the community of faith.
