Our Gypsy missionaries and believers in Romania are often looked down upon by the general populace of Eastern Europe. And yet while the society shows contempt for them, there is a child like faith that is undeniable in their lives and labors.  Their sincerity of belief and simplicity of lifestyle are a beautiful picture of God’s grace as not a few have to trust God for their daily bread. To read the reports of our Heart Cry Gypsy missionaries is an encouragement as the hardships they face are met by a resilient confidence in God.

While our brothers are confronted by their share of formidable opponets on the field, they stand fast in a faith that is simple, yet very sure.  Often, they encounter conflict amoung their people, suffer oppression from the Orthodox Church or reel from physical suffering in their family.  But they demonstrate an unshakeable confidence, being well grounded in and governed by their understanding of divine sovereignty.

Please pray for our six Gypsy missionaries and their families in Romania that they would be edified, walk in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 9:31
