Pastor Kennedy Kawambale was sent out by Kabwata Baptist Church to start a church in a new and affluent area of Lusaka. The church has grown quickly and made significant progress toward maturity. Kennedy’s latest report was full of exciting news – the ordination of two elders and the dedication of their church building:
“Finally on the 31st of October, the church was blessed with two new elders, Peter Kabwe and Abel Musonda. They were ordained in the company of Pastor Conrad Mbewe, Elder John Chundu, and myself. My emotions were very high as I saw the two brethren ordained as elders. We invited guests from different churches to come and witness this epic occasion. In attendance were about 185 people.
Pastor Conrad and Elder Chundu also joined us in dedicating our new church building to God. It was a glorious and heartwarming occasion!”
