HeartCry missionary Marian Toma is a Gypsy pastor.  Recently, he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. On May 2nd he had additional blood tests which revealed improvement in his condition.  Please pray for Marian as he continues to shepherd his people and do the work of an evangelist in his community.  He shares an evangelistic encounter from his witnessing this past month:

Luciana is a 24-year-old woman who has three children. She divorced her first husband and has remarried. Because her first husband was a lawbreaker she said it was difficult for her to suffer that kind of life anymore. So she left him and married a man from Tunari.  Her ex-husband was caught by the police and taken to prison. Because of her relationship with him as an accomplice to his crimes she was taken to prison. Meanwhile, Luciana discovered she was pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl while being incarcerated. Two months ago, she was released from prison because of the baby. Once the child turns one year of age she will have to return to prison to finish her sentence.

I visited Luciana one day to speak to her about the Lord. She started crying and told me her story of deep suffering. I noticed that her baby had a cold so I gave her some money for medicine and then prayed for them.

Luciana is coming to church. She enjoys the worship services and finds inner peace there. She was searched by the Lord and wanted to receive Him. While she knows she will have to go back to prison, she desires to return with a changed heart. Please pray for her. I gave her a New Testament and several gospel tracts.
