Pastor Kon Gave Noodle And Money. (2)

We are so thankful that we can worship the Lord as usual this month. I shared the Gospel in two different places. Two young women came to faith in Jesus. Please pray that the Lord will continue to work in their hearts.

We received a special offering this month from HeartCry to buy food and help the neediest among us in our church because of Covid and how it has impacted our country. With this offering, I bought some noodles and condiments and gave a little money to buy vegetables and meat to help 6 families who need help.

This month, we received prayer books from Kelly to help us learn to pray God’s Word. We are so glad that we have this resource to help us grow closer to God in prayer. I am so grateful that my church can be the place of worship for other churches.

On Sunday, we have services as normal in both places. On Monday, we have another service for members from churches that are still closed.

Pastoral meetings once a month with pastors and leaders in my province of Kampong Thom are continuing at my church. I am so encouraged when the love of Christ bonds us together and we enjoy the unity of churches from different areas. It is why we do what we do as the body of Christ.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray that all of us will grow close to God and seek Him deeper. Pray that God will give us knowledge to understand Him and His sovereignty. May we believe what He says and hold fast our confession.
  • May Christians move forward with their eyes fixed on the victory of Jesus Christ on the cross. Please pray that we are not blinded by human interest but continue in turning away from all unrighteousness. May all of us be fruitful (Galatians 5:22).
  • Please pray for other countries around the world that they will hold on to the eternal hope in Jesus. May the tribulations of the martyrs lead more people to repent and believe in the Jesus, the only one true God.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all,

Kon
