Greetings to you from Cambodia, beloved brothers and sisters. May the grace and peace from the Father and Jesus be with you. My family and I thank you so much for praying for us.

After watching four of our local church members walking faithfully for the last year by the grace of our Lord Jesus, I baptized these four members into Christ’s family. We didn’t have a river close enough to us to have the church come to witness the baptisms, so we improvised.

In the church, we continue to meet with leaders and pastors from other churches on Mondays regularly. I am so thankful that I could give away two Bibles (one new translation and one old translation) and 50 copies of Gospel tracts to a Pastor I have known for some time now, and to other leaders from other churches to use for their needs. It is a blessing from the Lord.

For my family, we are grateful that we are doing well by the grace of God. Our church members are doing good, too. We worship together on Sundays with the joy of the Lord in our hearts.

Please pray for Ahn, my wife, who has been coughing for months now. It still hasn’t gone away, but it is not as bad as when it first started. It happens once in a while, but it is often a hard deep cough. Pray that God will heal her through food, medicine, or other things to stop her coughs.

Pray that God will give me more time for the work of His kingdom and sharing the Gospel. Pray that God will put in me a generous heart to give and help when and where needed.

For the church, please pray that they will put all of their trust in the Word of God, that God will give them the love from Him, so that they can love one another as they love themselves and be faithful. Please also pray for all of us to be prepared and be ready to share the Gospel to others as opportunities come.

Scriptures that have especially impacted me this month:

“By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” (1 John 2:3-6).

This scripture reminds me to walk upright before God and before men. As a pastor, I am still a man who has many flaws. I need to remember this teaching not just for myself but also to help others remember as well. We are called to imitate Christ, to keep His Word, and to abide in Him. The world is full of wickedness, it is sometimes easy for us to keep one commandment and overlook the other, but in Christ, we need to be obedient to all His commands. We need to abstain from lying, and we have to be faithful and honest at all times.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God

and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all,
