HeartCry Missionary Society “will not work independently of the indigenous churches on the mission field or their leadership; but will work in partnership with them.” Therefore, HeartCry is thankful that the Lord allowed us to partner in Burma with Pastor Timothy. Pastor Timothy serves a local church, is the director of a Bible school, and gives oversight to an indigenous mission society and HeartCry missionaries. Pastor Timothy has been proclaiming the gospel for 35 years throughout towns and villages in Myanmar.
Too, Pastor Timothy is working with a Bible society to provide a Bible for the people group he is a part of in his native language. HeartCry was encouraged to have pastor Timothy in the office in the US this week to hear an update on the Bible translation project and other topics related to missions in Myanmar.
