Brothers and sisters,
In light of recent events and growing unrest in Yemen, some believers from a city in Yemen have contacted HeartCry asking that we pray for them and their country.
“Fighters from Al Qaeda captured the headquarters of a Yemeni Army brigade on Thursday, as the United Nations issued a dire new warning that Yemen was headed toward disintegration.” (From a recent article in the New York Times).
Pray that their faith would not fail and that they would be bold and courageous in the face of opposition and persection. Plead with God to give them a sight of the glory and power of Christ that would strengthen them and fill them with joy and peace.
